What can we say – without Mali Brae and their fantastic team (Amelia, Greg, Shelly and Will to name a few) our wedding would not have been the success it was. The support, honesty and integrity of the team was amazing, and we could not have been in better hands. From the ceremony site, to the function room, to the Dairy, everything was done to make sure our wedding was as close to perfect as it could be. The food was delicious, a special shout out to Grace and the team – no one left hungry!

We have been told by several of our friends this was ‘The Best Wedding Ever’, it wouldn’t have been without Mali Brae.

The Mali Brae team went above and beyond anything we imagined. We knew it would be fabulous, but we didn’t realise how fabulous.

We envisaged our wedding being intimate. Our families combined were pushing 400 (not even including friends or semi-distant relatives!) and it just wasn’t us to have a showy event and be on display. The engagement bliss fell a bit when excitement turned to stress as we realised how big the guest list was going to be. So we had only the nearest and dearest: 38 people including the bridal party and it was the best decision ever. We were able to speak with all of our guests beyond “thanks for coming, enjoy the meal”, and even though the farm is beautifully large, Mali Brae made our small wedding work like a dream with a gorgeous long table in Augustine’s Room.

We first came to visit Mali Brae 12 months earlier. It was the first venue we visited and we didn’t end up visiting any others. From the onset, the planning was made so easy with the planning space that included recommendations (including florals by Blush and Bloom, and photography by Thomas Stewart), concepts, and styles. The communication throughout was excellent with notifications and updates – something we were desperately grateful for given how much goes into a wedding, how much you forget, and how fast the time flies when planning!

The team were open to new ideas and so flexible and accomodating to accessibility needs. On the day, the team had a flawless operation from the time we arrived to the time we left. The support on the day was a huge surprise with everything being coordinated from walking down the aisle, setting up private canapés before joining our guests, and even turning the heater on in the cottage for us before returning after all the festivities. I knew the team would be there but I didn’t realise how fantastically they’d be assisting us – they were visible when needed and very discrete otherwise.

The farm is stunning with so many options for ceremony locations and photos. Having the buggy to drive us around was brilliant as we were able to get around to multiple locations for a few different shots in a short timeframe.

The food was out of this world. With a huge range of options to choose from, and very accomodating to dietary restrictions, there’s nowhere to go wrong. Every guest was blown away by how good the food was, and we can genuinely say that with 40-ish people because we were able to get around and talk to them all! Many of our guests in the planning stage were confused by our choices and the lack of tradition, but at the end of the night raved about it and how great the venue was for exactly that.

We were also seen off by two adorable four legged friends, which was the cherry on top. We can’t imagine being married anywhere else. It was a truly magical day, in a truly magical venue, by a truly magical team. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

DREAM WEDDING VENUE. I couldn’t recommend a wedding venue more highly. Not only is the farm beautiful, the whole wedding planning process was so seamless with this family owned, tight-knit working group. From the day we went to visit the farm, to all the check ins along the way to the wedding day, the wedding planning team went above and beyond. We loved this venue initially because they were very transparent with costs, the food was AMAZING and they had a beautiful wet weather option which every bride needs to keep her head chill the week of the wedding. They were also very helpful with vendors. We hired many vendors which frequent Mali Brae often and it just made the day run even smoother having people there which new the venue inside and out. Thanks so much guys!

The Mali Brae Team (Amelia, Greg, Shelly, Krisna, Grace, & Mikayla.. to name a few) made all our wedding dreams come true! We felt we were in the best hands possible and the day wouldn’t have been the success it was without them.

They offer a ‘Planning Space’ which has all your wedding planning needs, from vendor suggestions, floorplan’s, food and drink menus, runsheets, and more! With 100 acres to play with, the venue had the whole package for creative photos, multiple choices for ceremony sites, which offer their own unique vision, and an amazing reception area to celebrate and dance the night away. Grace and the kitchen staff created PHENOMENAL food, not one wedding guest went hungry and were extremely complimentary of the service provided. The communication leading up to and on the day was impeccable and took away all the stress and worry that comes with organising a wedding.

We could not recommend Mali Brae enough and the incredible team that comes with it, you can tell they love what they do which makes it even more special. Thank you Mali Brae, can we do it all again?

Mali Brae Farm is by far one of the most magical wedding venues and easily the best decision we made for our special day! From the amazing team of Mali Brae leading up to the wedding, to the beautiful and friendly staff that just made our day run so smoothly. No one else could have done it better! They all went above and beyond to make our day beautiful and perfect with ease!

The food was delicious! Most of our guests said it was the best wedding food they have ever tasted. The venue locations on site are spectacular and the choice of options is amazing! We ended up having to move our ceremony inside at the last minute due to weather, but the staff of Mali Brae made that transition completely stress free and everything ran perfectly the entire night.

Thank you again to the amazing Mali Brae team for everything you did for us and for making our special day so magical and memorable. We couldn’t be happier with our wedding day at Mali Brae Farm.

I am a wedding photographer. I’ve photographed around 800 weddings at many, many venues. Every single time I’m at a wedding at Mali Brae Farm, my experience is so positive that, and I leave at the end of the day having had such a great time, that I’ve decided to put my thoughts into a little review. Obviously, this is a beautiful place to get married (you can see that from photos!) But it’s the things that maybe you can’t see, that I’ve managed the experience, that make this venue truly special.

Above all, I’m consistently so impressed by the Mali Brae team. They are polite, helpful and warm. I’ve seen them calm nervous couples down, and I’ve watched as they share in the joy that is a wedding day (even though they see lots of weddings!) No issue is too great for them, and they are truly wonderful people to have around on your wedding day.

I’ve eaten at LOTS of wedding venues, and food at Mali Brae is among the best I’ve tasted. Also the portions are very generous 🙂

If you’re considering having your wedding here, I urge you to go meet the team and have a walk around this magical spot. Any season, any weather, it’s such a beautiful place to celebrate a wedding. Every time I consult my diary and see I have a Mali Brae wedding coming up, I smile as I know it’s going to be a great day!

I just wanted to say thank you so much for the time and effort that Greg put in showing us the grounds and answering all our questions. At previous venues we’ve been treated with less care and attention, which we believe is because we are choosing to have a more intimate wedding. The viewing was wonderful, and we can see the great care and pride that has gone into your family business and your mission to make everyone’s wedding day special, no matter how big or small. It was such a refreshing experience and we certainly feel we have our wedding mojo back! Cannot wait for our wedding day to come!

We had the BEST wedding experience at Mali Brae Farm – beyond expectations!! We knew it was the venue for us at the tour, when we were greeted by a friendly and down to earth Greg and some dogs! From the beginning, the wedding has felt personal and the Mali Brae team like family. We fell in love with location’s natural beauty and the indoor ceremony location.

The planning was very easy and seamless with thanks to the quick communication from the lovely girls Amelia and Shelley and their new ‘online planning space’. Their recommendations for vendors meant that we knew it was going to be an amazing day. We felt that we could put our trust in the team fully. We enjoyed working with Wendy the in house stylist to create our personal and special ceremony.

Now on the day… we were set up outside and at the time of the ceremony, it bucketed down with rain unexpectedly!! The Mali Brae team acted so quickly, professionally and without a fuss to move everything in their indoor venue. Guests were super impressed how the team responded and luckily, the weather did not damper our or our guests spirits because it was handled so well! We wanted to make a special mention to Krishna, our front of house superstar, we had many guests mention to us in the following days how wonderful she was. Krishna did a superb job at making sure everyone was happy and was very professional and clear in her communication, making sure everything ran as smooth as possible despite the weather interruptions!! Our ceremony (indoors) and reception was warm, love-filled, intimate and a lot of fun, just as we had wished!! We cannot thank the Mali Brae team enough!
